Denosumab

Description

A medicinal product intended to protect bone tissue in patients with severe cancers. It is used to strengthen bones weakened by disease-related destruction and to inhibit tumor growth within bone tissue.

Application

• For the prevention of skeletal-related events in adult patients with multiple myeloma and in patients with solid tumors with bone metastases.
• For the treatment of unresectable giant cell tumor of bone in adult patients or skeletally mature adolescents, as well as in cases where surgical intervention is associated with a high risk of serious complications.
