Petrovax Pharm Top managers speak to students of Russian University of Chemical Technology about the future of pharmacy

On 28 March, students of the D.I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology had a meeting with the managers of Petrovax Pharm production complex as part of the «Step into Career» event. Regina Ibragimova, Director of Petrovax Pharm Laboratory and Production Complex, and Nemanja Arandjelovic, Director for Quality, were the guests of the university. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce future specialists to real career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry and to show how one of the most state-of-the-art production facilities in Russia operates.

The experts spoke about the Petrovax Pharm development trends, the company mission and values, and shared their professional experience, current industrial trends and specific prospects for young professionals.

"This is not a one-off — we see today’s students as tomorrow’s colleagues and team members. We are ready not only to tell, but also to show how a state-of-the art pharmaceutical production operates,"
said Regina Ibragimova.

The history of Petrovax Pharm started with the creation of a molecule, and today the company is one of the largest biopharmaceutical companies in the country. At present, the production complex comprises four automated lines, including the full cycle — from the creation of substances to the production of finished products. More than 400 specialists work every day to make innovative therapies available to Russian patients.

The factory produces sterile and non-sterile drug products in various forms: disposable syringes, ampoules, vials, suppositories and tablets. Partners of Petrovax Pharm include some of the largest international pharmaceutical companies: Pfizer, Abbott, ISU ABXIS, Adimmune, CanSino.

The main focus of the meeting was on the product quality. Nemanja Arandjelovic noted that the company’s quality system ensures full drug inspection at all stages of production.

"We carry out both classical chemical studies and comprehensive work involving a large number of samples. Monitoring aseptic production conditions only requires the processing of 10-12 thousand samples monthly. This strict control allows us to ensure the highest quality of our products that meet the EAEU and EU GMP standards,"
emphasized Petrovax Pharm Quality Director.

The meeting aroused great interest—all 116 seats in the hall were occupied. Students actively asked questions about internships, eligibility requirements, career opportunities and corporate culture.

"Friendly atmosphere, strong team, zero bureaucracy and real opportunities for growth—all this makes Petrovax Pharm an attractive employer,"
added Regina Ibragimova.

Representatives of the Russian University of Chemical Technology department highlighted the importance of such dialogues for students, because they allow them to learn firsthand how the industry works and to decide on their own professional vectors.

A tour of the production facilities will be the next step of cooperation: participants of the Step into Career program will be able to see the production processes in person and get a better understanding of the specific features of their future profession.
