NPO Petrovax Pharm pioneers Russian GMP certificate to manufacture veterinary medicines

In October 2016, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), following the audit, approved the issue of a GMP certificate for NPO Petrovax Pharm to manufacture the veterinary medicines AZOXIVET and Vetolaza. The Company has taken the lead as the first Russian manufacturer of veterinary medicines to comply with the GMP standards approved in Russia.

NPO Petrovax Pharm started actively developing its veterinary business in early 2010, when it registered its Polyoxidonium®-vet solution. Today, the Company benefits from a veterinary product portfolio, consisting of two medicines offered in different dosage forms. One medicine is AZOXIVET®, a high-molecular multi-purpose immunomodulator, developed to treat and prevent acute and chronic infectious diseases. Another one is Vetolaza®, a medicine intended for the combination therapy of acute and chronic endometritis to stimulate cattle fertility.
