Petrovax Pharm GMP Certified in Ukraine and Slovakia

This year, Petrovax Pharm, a pharmaceutical company, has received EU Certificates of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance from regulators in Ukraine and Slovakia. The certification came after two successful EU GMP audits: run by the State Institute for Pharmaceutical Controls in Slovakia in December 2011 and by the State Training Centre for Good Manufacturing and Distributional Practices in Ukraine in March 2012. The audits made Petrovax Pharm Russia’s first biopharmaceutical company to be EU GMP certified. The high-level recognition from the pharmaceutical regulators in Ukraine and Slovakia will help Petrovax Pharm strengthen its footprint across the two countries and open up new opportunities to sell products to the CIS and Europe. Arkady Nekrasov, General Director of NPO Petrovax Pharm, commented: “Ever since its inception, Petrovax Pharm has been strategically committed to making best-in-class pharmaceuticals available to consumers. The GMP certificates from the Ukrainian and Slovakian regulators once again confirm the high quality and effectiveness of our products and mark an important milestone in Russian pharma switching over to GMP compliant processes in line with the Strategy for the Russian Pharmaceutical Industry Through 2020. As proud leaders in the manufacturing and distribution of quality pharmaceuticals in Russia, we hope to soon see our products enjoy the same popularity abroad as they currently do in the Russian market.”
